Membership & Financial Aid Information

Age Restrictions

  • All members must be between the ages of 7 – 17 to enroll as a Pro Kids member.
    • 18 year olds OK if still in High School

Membership Benefits

  • Access to monthly age-based Golf & Life skills classes
    • All required golf equipment is included (clubs & balls)
    • Parents will sign-up participants securing a consistent class day and time for the month upon using the online portal.
    • Classes are held weekly (excluding Mondays and holidays). Families should check the calendar regularly for updates.
    • A class reservation is required for each member each month.
    • Reservations are limited to one class slot per participant
  • Access to our golf course facilities during business hours (please call ahead to book a tee time for course play)
  • Access to Learning Center programs and activities, specialty field trips, college and career prep activities, and scholarship for post-high school education
    • The Learning Center provides a variety of programs including homework help, tutoring, STEAM workshops, college and career preparation, and enrichment activities like reading, exercise, and golf practice. Students attend once or twice per week during the school year and work closely with team leaders to set goals, receive personalized support, and track their progress. Due to high demand and limited capacity by age group, early registration is strongly recommended.

Financial Aid/Military Discount Information

Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego is committed to serving low income and at-risk youth. We offer up to a 100% discount and will never turn someone away for their inability to pay for our program. We work to accommodate families from a variety of different financial backgrounds and needs. To ensure we are making programs affordable, we have a generous financial aid program which will significantly reduces costs for families that qualify.

Who qualifies for financial aid?

  • Military families (active or veteran) *must be primary parent/guardian to child
    • Beginning 2025, military families will receive a 25% discount on each full priced membership.
  • Households which fall below 120% of AMI – San Diego (see financial aid chart)

You will automatically qualify for financial aid if your household income falls below 120% of AMI – San Diego. Please allow 72 hours for us to process your request. Please check your email for approvals.
